Lokomotiva, Skopje in the period from 25th to 30th of August 2022 in the small city of Struga, will organize “Summit” meetings of the Nomad Dance Academy network, as part of the project (Non)Aligned Movements.

The “Summit” of the Nomad Dance Academy will be attended by individuals and organizations, members of the Nomad Dance Academy, and they will discuss the ways of cooperation in the region, networking between festivals for contemporary dance and performance, the development of residential programs in that field, and the regional archive for contemporary dance and performance on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, will be discussed as well.

At the “Summit” meeting of Nomad Dance Academy, under the motto Past/ Present/ Future the participants will be discussing the working conditions and working ethics in the dance field in the region. These discussions will be followed by the work on the principles of the Nomad Dance Academy, and the politics of the collaboration. “Summit” will overlap with the other program of (Non)Aligned Movements, Summer School “Curating in Context” which continues until 3rd September.

The participants of the “Summit” are Aleksandar Georgiev, Aleksandra Janeva Imfeld, Biljana Tanurovska – Kjulavkovski, Darío Barreto Damas, Dejan Srhoj, Dragana Alfirević, Gisela Müller, Iskra Sukarova, Jasmina Založnik, Marijana Cvetkovic, Rok Vevar and Viktorija Ilioska.

On the 30th of August all the participants in a joint presentation presented Nomad Dance Academy to the participants of the school “Curating in Context” – the open Course “Curatorial Practice in Context”, and common meetings that will be organized with the aim to extend the network and information about the (Non)Aligned Movements project.

These activities are part of the (Non)Aligned Movements project supported by the Creative Europe/ European Cooperation Western Balkans program, the Ministry of Culture of North Macedonia.

The (Non)Aligned Movements project is developed in partnership between STANICA Service for contemporary dance, Belgrade; Nomad Dance Academy Slovenia, Ljubljana; Nomad Dance Academy Bulgaria, Sofia; Tanzfabrik Berlin and LOKOMOTIVA Centre for new initiatives in art and culture, Skopje.

Локомотива, Скопје во периодот од 25-ти до 30-ти август 2022 година во малиот град Струга, ќе организира „Самит“- состаноци на мрежата на Номад танц академија, како дел од проектот (Не)Врзани Движења/ (Non)Aligned Movements.

На „Самитот“ на Номад танц академија ќе присуствуваат поединци и организации, членови на Номад танц академија, а ќе разговараат за начините на соработка во регионот, вмрежувањето меѓу фестивалите за современ танц и перформанс, развојот на резиденцијални програми, а ќе се разговара и за регионалната архива за современ танц и перформанс на територијата на поранешна Југославија.

На „Самитот“ на Номад танц академија, под мотото Минато/ Сегашност/ Иднина, учесниците ќе разговараат за работните услови и работната етика во танцовата област во регионот. Овие дискусии ќе бидат проследени со работата на принципите на Номад танц академија и политиката на соработката. „Самит“ ќе се преклопува со другата програма на (Не)Врзани Движења/ (Non)Aligned Movements, Летна школа „Курирање во контекст“ која продолжува до 3 септември.

Учесници се: Александар Георгиев, Александра Јанева Имфелд, Биљана Тануровска- Ќулавковски, Викторија Илиоска, Дарио Барето Дамас, Дејан Срхој, Драгана Алфиревиќ, Гизела Милер, Искра Шукарова, Јасмина Заложник, Марјана Цветковиќ и Рок Вевар.

На 30-ти август сите учесници преку заедничка презентација им ја претставија Номад танцовата академија на учесниците на школата „Курирање во контекст“ – отворениот курс „Кураторска пракса во контекст“ и заеднички средби кои ќе се организираат со цел да се прошири мрежата и информации за проектот (Не)Врзани Движења/ (Non)Aligned Movements.

Овие активности се дел од проектот Движења на неврзаните поддржан од програмата Креативна Европа/ Европска соработка Западен Балкан, Министерството за култура на Северна Македонија.
