In the frame of the summer school “Curating in context” that will happen in Struga, the public lecture “Thinking and Making beyond the project: Making temporal kinships” will take place on the 31st of August, at 7pm, at the “Summer stage” in the Cultural Centre in Struga.

Bojana Kunst is a philosopher, dramaturg, and performance theoretician. She works as a professor at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies in Giessen, where she is leading an international master's program in Choreography and Performance. She worked as a researcher at the University of Ljubljana and the University of Antwerp (till 2009), and later as a guest professor at the University of Hamburg (2009 – 2012). She lectured and organized seminars, workshops, and laboratories in different academic institutions, theaters, and artistic organizations across Europe, and worked with artistic initiatives, artists, groups, and activists. Her research interest is contemporary performance and dance, art theory, and the philosophy of contemporary art. She published Artist at Work, Proximity of Art and Capitalism, Zero Books, Winchester, London, 2015, and The Life of Art. Transversal Lines of Care, Ljubljana, 2021 (in Slovenian language).

The lecture is supported by Goethe-Institut Skopje, as part of the (Non)Aligned Movements project supported by the Creative Europe/European Cooperation Western Balkans program, the Ministry of Culture of North Macedonia, and the Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH).

„Размислување и создавање потаму од проектот: привремени братимења“ на Бојана Кунст

Во рамки на школата „Курирање во контекст“ кој се одржува во Струга, на 31ви август, со почеток во 19.00 на „Летна сцена“ при НУЦК „Браќа Миладиновци“ Струга, ќе се одржи отворено предавање на Бојана Кунст, филозоф, драматург и теоретичарка на перформансот.

Бојана Кунст работи како професорка на Институтот за применети театарски студии на Јустус Лајбиг Униврзитетот во Гисен, Германија, каде што ја води меѓународната мастер програма Кореографија и перформанс. Работела како истражувачка на Универзитетот во Љубљана и Универзитетот во Антверп (до 2009), а подоцна како визитинг професор на Универзитетот во Хамбург (2009-2012). Предавала и организирала семинари, работилници и лаборатории на различни академски институции, театри, уметнички организации низ Европа, а исто така работела со уметнички иницијативи, уметници, групи и активисти. Нејзиниот истражувачки интерес е современиот перформанс и танц, уметничка теорија и филозофија на современата уметност.
Ги објавила книгите „Уметникот на работа, блискоста на уметноста со капитализмот“ во издание на Zero books, (на англиски јазик) 2015, и Животот на уметноста. Трансферзални линии на грижа“ Љубљана 2021 (на словенски јазик.)
